By Ariel Colhoun Passionate about increasing the sphere of influence for women & driving positive change.
The world is full of distractions – our electronics, our work, our diverse relationships, our overbooked schedules, and even our egos. We are tethered to our electronic devices and social dynamics have changed. People want immediate access, instantaneous responses, and patience is on a short leash. There are so many distractions it can be overwhelming. From a macro-perspective, the ‘noise’ in our lives today is unprecedented and stress seems to be at an all-time high. Its seems like more and more people are short-tempered and spreading their stress on to others - whether they may realize it or not.
We believe love and kindness can conquer all. We believe love and kindness combined with a strong sense of community can actually make you both healthier and happier overall. As Aesop once said, “No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.”
Kindness Matters
Simple and effective, we think spreading kindness and love by using these Kindness Matters Cards can be a great reminder to everyone that "One word can change someone's entire day." There's a choice of either 100, 250, 500 or 1000 cards in each pack and the cards are all the same with lots of acts of kindness suggestions. The cards can be used as simple 'smile introducers' and are a nice reminder of how important kindness and compassion really are.
Ways to use the cards:
If you own a business, place the cards in a little bowl or container in your reception area for your customers.
If you own a retail or online store, slip a card with your customer's purchase - it's a nice added touch!
Keep some cards handy in your purse/wallet with you when you go out so if you see someone who you think could use a smile, hand them a card and say something nice or pay them a compliment.
Post them on local business or school bulletin boards to encourage others to pay it forward.
Add it in a birthday card or gift for that special someone.
Spread a little love today and always,
