Regret

We all have regrets. I can honestly say I only have one - getting breast implants. If I could look back on my younger self and part some wisdom from everything I have learned and experienced over these past 10 years since having my surgery, it would be to say be true to yourself and love yourself for who you are. Be your own kind of beautiful.

Regret

Learn to forgive yourself. It’s okay to experience regret. You may look back at the choices you have made in the past with regret. There is no time machine to access at this point to go back and change anything. If you have regret for some of your past life choices, take some time to figure out how and why you were led to make the decisions you made at that particular time. Those decisions were all relevant to your environment at that time. Looking back on your life is a great way to move forward – a great way to use your past experiences to make healthier or different decisions. Remember any choices you have made in the past contribute to you and who you are as a person today. Those choices are not permanent and it’s up to you to change them.

When you find yourself feeling full of regret, sadness, fear or self-doubt, or if you feel the weight of the world upon your shoulders, know that you can do something about it. In order to move on and break free from any regret, address the root causes, and slowly chip away at them to diminish their negative existence. Remember, life is much like a book ... you can pick it up any time, you can simply read the chapters or you can write the book. You can finish a chapter and never look back, or you can re-read several chapters. You can take notes, observations, and even re-write certain chapters. It’s all up to you.
