Serendipity

By Ariel Colhoun Passionate about increasing the sphere of influence for women & driving positive change.

Things happen for a reason. Order does lie beneath the apparent chaos. There are no coincidences. In all the seemingly random occurrences are predetermined circuitries, calculations, processes and designs creating opportunities for all. When you are in tune with your environment, serendipity becomes more apparent. The question is, whether or not you are able to recognize it.

Serendipity holds the essence of chance, but in reality, ensures the divine. If an opportunity is meant to be it will not pass you by, it just may happen when you are not expecting it. There are many deterministic elements in our lives, but the additional freedom we are given allows us to ‘play’ with the timing and helps explain the elements of randomness.

Serendipitous moments help us regain belief and faith. Serendipity recaptures our wishes, hopes and dreams, and adds the extra fuel we need when we are feeling lost or have temporarily lost hope. Serendipity lines up the moments when we are least expecting them to reassure you that you are on the right path. Serendipity can also help confirm to you that you are contributing, and not to worry if you are feeling temporarily disconnected or fragmented.

Chance meetings or connections with others often highlight our serendipitous moments. We literally cross the paths of so many individuals each and every day of our lives, yet we instinctively know when one of those people stands out from all the rest. A serendipitous moment with another person that potentially has a role in your wish-fulfillment creates an ‘aha’ moment that makes time stand still momentarily to catch your attention and validate your path.
