The Science Of Love

By Ariel Colhoun Passionate about increasing the sphere of influence for women & driving positive change.

Love is a dynamic emotion and the abundant scientific research behind love indicates that love actually has the ability to stimulate creativity. Even the mere notion of love itself can be the catalyst for creative productivity at an overall increased rate. The emotions behind love, whether it be thinking, feeling, experiencing, or the act of falling in love and more, triggers and releases positive hormones that feeds our souls and opens up the dopamine-rich pathways of the brain. The release of neurotransmitters and other various chemicals cause a surge in the brain network interaction in many regions of the brain that spur our cognitive abilities.

Love has the ability to alter our thoughts and influence how we feel about our outside world similar to that of a halo effect. When we experience the feeling of love we become more accepting of life circumstances and we tend to think about the bigger picture on a larger, more global scale. Love invokes our ability to foresee into the future and view from a long-term perspective, rather than short-term increments. When we feel love, we can envision the completion of our wishes and ultimately how they can benefit the world around us.

We all need to love more

Love transcends all time, space, and matter. The love that comes from your heart has the power to break barriers, restore harmony, and create remarkable bonds between all living things. We have the ability to change every living moment with love. Let love fill your soul and your passions. Let love help you find your way and follow your wishes, hopes and dreams. What the world needs right now is more love.
