Remembering Your Dreams
So many people I talk to claim they either don’t dream or can’t remember their dreams at all. Just as quickly as time passes in a dream, the memories too will fade and vanish at the same rate. We all have the capability to dream and many people actually do dream every night but cannot recall their dreams when they wake up. Many attribute this loss of memory to mental exhaustion. If you find yourself multitasking, feeling overloaded and overwhelmed during the day, the moment you are able to fall asleep, your body is in healing mode. The extra energy it needs to heal your soul at night has priority over you recalling your dreams. Reducing your stress levels during the day will free up the room required for your body’s healing process and allow your soul to escape and be free to connect on another level every night.
I also think part of the problem we face nowadays is the fact that our minds run free with wild and random thoughts the moment we lay our heads on our pillows. Sometimes we allow our minds to activate the moment we go to bed, rather than deactivate and focus on the hand at task – the ability to go to sleep in a reasonable amount of time free of thoughts and mental distractions. If you have trouble going to sleep at night, you are actually subtracting from the necessary time your body needs to heal. Should you find yourself in this position, it is worthwhile seeking professional advice for sleeping techniques.
Associate Peace With Sleep
I am a mix of the two. When I lay my head on my pillow at night, that is my heightened moment of clarity. My mind fills with my most creative thoughts and automatically goes on overdrive. I keep a notepad by my bed to record my thoughts because I know when I wake up in the morning I will never remember them all if I don’t write them down. Then when I do manage to fall asleep, my dreams are so detailed, full of insight and visions, unlike anything I have seen here on earth that I literally wake up exhausted. My dreams are so intense that my body, mind, and soul are literally more tired than before I went to bed.
The ultimate goal is to balance your dreams with a restful sleep and be able to wake up recharged, focused and energized. Having peace associated with your sleep will also open up your consciousness to receive more and dream more. Any messages that will assist in your creativity, purpose, and fulfilling your wishes will have more room to deliver these messages directly to you while you are in a rested state.
